Disclosure and Privacy Policy
A plain-language explanation of how this site earns money and what it does with your information.
Affiliate disclosure
Canadian Made Finds is a participant in the Amazon.ca Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.ca.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
What that means for you: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. You pay the same price either way.
I may also join affiliate programs with other Canadian retailers. Any page with affiliate links says so at the top.
I choose every product myself, based on whether it’s made in Canada and worth buying. No company pays to be featured.

What I collect. This site doesn’t ask for personal information unless you choose to contact me or sign up for email updates. If you do, I only use your name and email to reply or send those updates.
Cookies and links. When you click a link to Amazon.ca or another retailer, that site may set cookies to track the purchase so I’m credited. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
Site stats. I may use a basic analytics tool to see which pages are popular. It doesn’t identify you personally.
Fonts and images. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some photos from Unsplash, which means your browser connects to their servers when you visit.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To have your email removed, unsubscribe from any email or contact me.
